# CalcNote Privacy Policy

CalcNote ("this app") respects your privacy and complies with applicable laws. This app has no sign-up, and the calculation records you enter are stored only on your device by default. This policy explains what information this app processes and how.
## 1. Information this app collects or transmits
### 1a. Directly identifiable information
This app does not collect directly identifiable personal information such as your name, email, phone number, or account. There is no sign-up or login.
### 1b. Stored locally on your device
The following data is stored only inside your device and is not transmitted to any external server:
- **Calculation records**: the expressions you enter, their results, and optional labels/notes (SQLite database, `sqflite`)
- **Folders**: folder names and colors you create (SQLite)
- **App settings**: display language, theme (light/dark), rounding precision, and other preferences (`shared_preferences`)
This data is deleted when you uninstall the app. It never leaves your device except when you explicitly use the Export feature to create and share a file.
### 1c. Processing through third-party services
**Advertising (Google AdMob)**
This app is free and displays Google AdMob ads. To deliver and measure ads, AdMob may collect and process your advertising identifier, IP address, and device information. **App Tracking Transparency (iOS)**
On iOS devices, a system App Tracking Transparency prompt appears asking whether to allow tracking. If you do not allow tracking, non-personalized ads are served.
**In-app purchases (Google Play / App Store)**
This app offers in-app purchases such as ad removal. Payment is handled by Google Play or the Apple App Store; this app does not directly collect or store your payment details such as card numbers.
**Other features**
The rate-the-app prompt (`in_app_review`) and share (`share_plus`) features simply invoke the operating system's built-in functions and do not collect any additional personal information.
## 2. Permissions
This app does not request sensitive permissions such as camera, microphone, contacts, location, or storage. It uses only internet access for displaying ads and processing in-app purchases.
## 3. Retention and use period
- Local on-device data (calculation records, folders, settings) is retained until you uninstall the app or delete it within the app.
- Information processed by third-party services (AdMob, payments) is retained according to each service's own policy.
## 4. Provision to third parties
This app does not provide your personal information to any third party other than Google AdMob and Google Play / Apple App Store (for payments) as described in section 1c.
## 5. Your rights
- You can delete calculation records and folders, or reset all data, directly within the app.
- Uninstalling the app deletes all local data on your device.
- You can reset your advertising identifier or opt out of personalized ads in your device settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads; iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking).
## 6. Children's privacy
This app is not directed primarily at children under the age of 14 (under the age of 13 under the U.S. COPPA standard), and does not knowingly collect personal information from such children. AdMob ads are served to a General Audience.
