# SubsCount Privacy Policy

SubsCount ("this app") respects your privacy. It has no sign-up and stores all data only on your device. This policy transparently explains what information the app handles.
## 1. Information this app collects or transmits
### 1a. Directly identifiable information
This app does **not** collect or transmit any directly identifiable information such as name, email, phone number, or account credentials to any server. There is no sign-up or login.
### 1b. On-device local storage
The subscription information you enter (service name, price, billing cycle, billing date, category, memo, usage frequency, etc.) is stored only in an on-device local database (Hive) and is never transmitted externally. This data is accessible solely on your own device.
### 1c. Third-party services
- **Google AdMob (advertising):** This app is free and supported by Google AdMob banner ads. AdMob may collect and use an Advertising ID, IP address, and device information to serve ads, per Google's Ads policy (https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads). On iOS you may decline tracking via App Tracking Transparency (ATT); ads will still be shown in a non-personalized form.
## 2. Permissions
This app uses the following permissions:
- **Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS) / exact alarms (SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM, USE_EXACT_ALARM) / run at boot (RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED):** used to show payment-date reminders at the correct time. Notifications are scheduled and shown entirely on-device and never pass through a server.
- **Internet (INTERNET):** used to display ads and check for app updates.
This app does not request sensitive permissions such as camera, microphone, contacts, location, or storage.
## 3. Retention and use period
- Locally stored subscription data remains on the device until you delete it or uninstall the app.
- Retention of information collected by the third party (AdMob) follows that service's own policy.
## 4. Third-party disclosure
This app does not provide user information to any third party other than Google AdMob as described in section 1c.
## 5. Your rights
- You may edit or delete your subscription data within the app at any time.
- Uninstalling the app deletes all data stored on the device.
- You can reset your Advertising ID or limit ad personalization in device settings (Android: Settings > Google > Ads / iOS: Settings > Privacy).
## 6. Children's privacy
This app is not directed to children under the age of 14 (or under the age of 13 per the U.S. COPPA standard) and does not knowingly collect their personal information.
