This policy explains how "Bill Splitter" (the "App") handles user information. The App has no sign-up or login, and does not collect or transmit any directly identifiable personal information (name, email, phone number, address, etc.).

## 1. Information the App collects or transmits
### 1.1 Directly identifiable information
The App does **not** collect or transmit directly identifiable personal information such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, or account IDs.
### 1.2 Data stored locally on your device
The following data is stored only inside your device and is never sent to an external server. It is deleted together with the App when you uninstall it.
- **Settlement records** (SharedPreferences): event name, date, place, memo, participant display names you enter, rounds, menu items, amounts, and payment records
- **App settings** (SharedPreferences): rounding unit, share format, theme, language
Participant names are free-form display text entered by you. The App never uploads them or requests access to your contacts.
### 1.3 Automatic transmission via third-party SDKs
#### Google AdMob (advertising)
The App shows Google AdMob ads to stay free. AdMob may automatically collect:
- Advertising identifier (AAID / IDFA)
- Device information (model, OS version, language, time zone)
- IP address (for approximate region)
- Ad interactions (impression / click events)

#### Google Play services (update prompt)
The `in_app_update` SDK invokes the Play Store update dialog. It does not collect additional personal information.
### 1.4 OS share sheet & file export
- Sharing a settlement result opens the OS share sheet via `share_plus`. The App does not track share actions; the receiving app processes the data.
- Image / PDF / CSV export and file import work only with files on your device that you choose. Nothing is uploaded to a server.
