Cabling Tycoon Privacy Policy
# Cabling Tycoon Privacy Policy
- Service: Cabling Tycoon (케이블링 타이쿤)
- Effective date: July 27, 2026
- Last updated: July 27, 2026
This app can be used without an account or a login, and it does not collect
information that identifies you directly — no name, phone number or email
address. What follows is everything the app stores or sends.
---
## 1. What this app collects and sends
### 1-1. Directly identifying information
**None is collected.** There is no account system, and the app has no field
asking for a name, date of birth, phone number, email address or postal
address.
### 1-2. Stored on your device only (never transmitted)
The following is kept on your device and is sent to nobody, including the
developer. Storage uses `shared_preferences`.
- Game records: furthest day reached, best run revenue, best single day, runs
played, best combo, and which pin numbers you get wrong most often
- Settings: sound / music / vibration on-off, language choice
- Progress flags: whether you have seen the uncle's story beats and the
first-time control hints
- The leaderboard's random identifier and the last nickname you typed (see 1-4)
Deleting the app deletes all of it.
### 1-3. Advertising (Google AdMob)
This app shows ads through Google AdMob, in two formats: a **rewarded ad**
(only when you choose to continue after a game over) and an **interstitial**.
Google and its advertising partners may collect and use the following to
serve, measure and protect those ads:
- Advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID / iOS IDFA)
- IP address, device model, OS version, language and approximate region
- Ad impression and click records
The developer neither collects nor has access to any of it; Google is the
party that processes it.
- Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
- How Google uses data from sites or apps that use its services:
https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
**For iOS users:** on first launch, iOS asks whether the app may track you
(App Tracking Transparency). Declining keeps the ads exactly as they are; only
the interest-based personalisation is turned off.
### 1-4. Online leaderboard (Hall of Fame)
Only when you actively choose **"Put me on the board"** on the game-over screen
is anything sent to the developer's server (`rank.reactiveworks.dev`):
| Item | Description |
|---|---|
| Nickname | A 2-8 character string you type yourself |
| Run revenue and day reached | That run's score |
| Random identifier | A 32-character random value the app generates on first launch |
The random identifier exists so one device holds one row on the board. It is
generated by the app itself and is unrelated to any hardware serial,
advertising ID or account. On its own it identifies nobody.
Your nickname is shown publicly to other players on the leaderboard, so please
do not enter a real name, contact details or anything else that identifies you.
If you never post a score, nothing is ever sent.
### 1-5. Development play logs (not present in store builds)
The code includes a play-logging feature used to tune the game's difficulty. It
runs **only in debug and profile builds and is disabled entirely in the release
builds published to app stores.** The app you installed from a store does not
run it and sends no such data.
---
## 2. Permissions
This app requests **no sensitive permissions** — no camera, microphone,
contacts, location, storage or photo access.
| Permission | Purpose | Required |
|---|---|---|
| Vibration (VIBRATE) | Haptic feedback while working on a cable | Optional — can be turned off in Settings |
| Internet access | Receiving ads, posting and reading the leaderboard | Required (the game itself still runs offline) |
---
## 3. Retention
- **On-device data**: kept until you delete the app, and removed with it.
- **Leaderboard data**: kept on the server until you ask for its removal or the
service shuts down. To request removal, send your nickname to the address in
section 7.
- **Advertising data**: retained according to Google's policies.
---
## 4. Sharing with third parties
The developer does not sell your information or pass it to third parties. The
one entry below is a provider that processes data directly in order to deliver
the service.
| Recipient | Data | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Google (AdMob) | Advertising identifier, IP address, device information | Serving and measuring ads |
Leaderboard data is stored on a server the developer operates directly and is
not shared with any other company.
---
## 5. Your rights and how to exercise them
- **Reset your records**: delete and reinstall the app; everything stored on
the device is cleared.
- **Remove your leaderboard entry**: email the address in section 7 with your
nickname and it will be deleted within 7 business days.
- **Turn off personalised ads**:
- Android: Settings → Google → Ads → "Delete advertising ID" or "Opt out of
Ads Personalisation"
- iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → turn the app's permission
off
---
## 6. Children's privacy
This app is not directed at children under the age of 14 (the threshold under
Korean law), and it does not knowingly collect personal information from
children — including, for COPPA purposes, children under the age of 13. AdMob
ads are configured for a General Audience. If we learn that information from a
child has been collected, it is deleted immediately.
---
## 7. Contact
- Developer: SiU Ahn (안시우)
- Email: siwooeo@gmail.com
Privacy questions and deletion requests sent to the address above are answered
within 7 business days. Using **Settings → Contact the developer** in the app
attaches your app version automatically, which makes issues quicker to track
down.
---
## 8. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the change and its effective date will be announced
through an app update and on this page. Significant changes are announced 7
days before they take effect.
