# CoachNote Privacy Policy

CoachNote ("this app") values your privacy and complies with applicable privacy laws, including the Personal Information Protection Act of the Republic of Korea. This policy explains what information the app handles and what rights you have.
## 1. Information We Collect or Transmit
### 1-1. Directly Identifiable Information
This app does not require account registration and does not collect or transmit directly identifiable personal information (name, email, phone number) to any server. No server-side account exists.
### 1-2. Local On-Device Storage
The following data is stored only on your device (using the Hive local database and shared_preferences) and is never transmitted externally:
- Student/coach records: name, category, start date, memo
- Session logs: date, venue, topic, comments
- Photos, videos, and voice recordings attached to sessions
- Measurement records (weight, personal records, and other coach-defined metrics)
- App settings (theme, language, notifications, subscription state)
This data is deleted when you uninstall the app.
### 1-3. Third-Party Services
#### Google AdMob (Advertising)
This app displays Google AdMob banner ads. AdMob may collect the following to serve ads:
- Advertising ID
- IP address and device information (model, OS version, etc.)
- Ad interaction data

#### Google Play Billing (Subscription)
Pro subscription payments are processed entirely by Google Play. This app never accesses your payment card or other financial information. See the [Google Play Terms of Service](https://play.google.com/about/play-terms/) for details.

This app uses Google Play's in-app update check and review prompt features. No additional personal information is collected in this process.

Each permission is requested only when you use the corresponding feature, and declining it does not affect other features. Captured media is stored only on your device.

- Local on-device data: until you uninstall the app or reset its data
- Information collected by third-party services (AdMob, Google Play): per each service's privacy policy
## 4. Third-Party Disclosure
This app does not provide personal information to any third party other than the services listed in section 1-3 (Google AdMob, Google Play).
## 5. Your Rights
- You can revoke any permission at any time in your device settings.
- Uninstalling the app deletes all on-device data.
- You can reset your Advertising ID or limit personalized ads in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads).
## 6. Children's Privacy
This app is not directed at children under the age of 14 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. For COPPA alignment, this app likewise does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. AdMob ads are served to general audiences.
