# FortuneLog Privacy Policy

FortuneLog ("this app") lets you record and keep, on your own device, the fortune-telling consultations you have had — Korean saju, shaman readings, tarot, and more. This app does not tell fortunes, and it does not transmit or collect the records you enter. This policy explains how this app handles your information.
## 1. Information this app collects or transmits
### 1a. Directly identifying information
This app has **no sign-up, no login, and no account**, and it **does not collect** any directly identifying information such as your name, email, or phone number.
### 1b. Local, on-device storage (no external transmission)
Everything you enter is stored **only on your device** and is never sent to any server. The storage technologies and stored items are:
- **Hive (local database)**: reading type (saju/shaman/tarot/other), date, place and region, consultation channel, fee, referrer, notes, questions and answers, hit/miss verdicts, and concern tags.
- **Attached photos**: images you choose to attach are copied into the app's private storage on your device (separate from your photo library) and are never transmitted.
- **SharedPreferences (local settings)**: app settings such as theme, language, default type, and currency display.
- **flutter_secure_storage / device authentication (biometric or screen lock)**: the app-lock feature uses only your device operating system's biometric or screen-lock authentication (`local_auth`). This app does not store fingerprint or face data or any separate password; authentication is handled entirely by the device OS.
This data is removed when you delete the app. You can back it up yourself at any time as a JSON file via the app's "Export data" feature; the storage and transfer of that file is entirely under your control.
### 1c. Third-party services
**Advertising (Google AdMob)**
This app is free and shows Google AdMob ads. To deliver personalized ads, AdMob may collect and process your advertising identifier, IP address, and device information. This processing is governed by Google's privacy policy.

On iOS, in accordance with App Tracking Transparency, the app asks whether you allow tracking. If you decline, you are served non-personalized ads instead.
**App update, review, and share**
`in_app_update` (update check), `in_app_review` (store review prompt), and `share_plus` (OS share sheet) merely invoke store or operating-system features and do not collect personal information.
## 2. Permissions
This app **does not persistently request sensitive permissions** such as camera, microphone, location, contacts, or storage.
- **Biometric (USE_BIOMETRIC)**: used only when you enable the app lock, to authenticate via your device's unlock method. Biometric data is handled by the device OS; this app neither accesses nor stores it.
- **Attaching photos**: when attaching a photo, the app accesses only the image you pick through the operating system's standard photo picker.
## 3. Retention
- Local on-device data: retained until you delete it or uninstall the app.
- Data processed by third parties (such as AdMob): governed by that service's privacy policy.
## 4. Disclosure to third parties
This app does not disclose your records to any third party. The only external data processing is the Google AdMob advertising described in section 1c.
## 5. Your rights
- **Delete data**: use the in-app "Delete all" feature, or uninstall the app to remove all local data.
- **Back up / move data**: export a JSON backup via "Export data" and restore it via "Import data."
- **Reset advertising identifier**: reset your advertising ID or turn off personalized ads in your device settings under Privacy → Ads.
## 6. Children's privacy
This app is not directed to children under the age of 14 (nor under the age of 13 under the U.S. COPPA standard). AdMob ads are served for a general audience.
