Clock Out — Privacy Policy

Effective: September 18, 2026

SiU Ahn ("the developer") publishes this policy to explain what the Clock Out app ("the app") does with your information.

1. Overview

The app has no sign-up and no account. Your progress (bonus balance, upgrades, cycles, best records, settings) is stored on your device only, and the developer cannot read it. The random numbers the game uses are generated on your device and are never sent anywhere. There is no leaderboard and no comparison with other players.

2. What is collected, and why

2.1 Stored on your device only (never transmitted)

2.2 Advertising (Google AdMob)

The app is free. It may show a full-screen ad between runs. A rewarded ad is shown only when you choose to double your bonus or keep going. Google, as the ad provider, may collect and use advertising identifiers, IP addresses and device information under its own policies.

  • Google advertising policy: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads
  • Users in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent to personalised ads through Google's consent tool.
  • On iOS you are asked whether to allow tracking (App Tracking Transparency) on first launch; declining does not restrict any feature of the app.
  • On Android you can reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalised ads in the system settings.

2.3 In-app purchases (Google Play)

Full-time Contract, New Hire, Overtime Pay and the premium cosmetics (CEO badge, platinum stamp, executive office) are sold through Google Play billing. Google Play processes the payment; the app never receives card numbers or other payment details. To confirm what you bought and to reflect refunds, the app asks Google Play for this account's purchases and keeps what you own on your device only. Nothing is sent to the developer.

2.4 Store and device features

  • Update check — the app asks Google Play (Android) or the Apple App Store (iOS) whether a newer version exists. No information that identifies you is sent.
  • Rate the app and More apps — open the matching store page.
  • Tell a friend — opens your device's share sheet; you decide what to send and to whom.
  • Contact us — opens a draft in your mail app with the developer's address, the app version, your device model and OS version filled in. Nothing is sent until you send it yourself, and the developer uses the mail only to answer you.

3. Permissions

Apart from an internet connection for ads and update checks, the app asks for no sensitive permission such as camera, microphone, contacts, location or photos. For the iOS tracking request, see section 2.2.

4. Retention and deletion

Information stored on your device disappears as soon as you uninstall the app. Support mail is kept to answer you and is deleted promptly on request.

5. Sharing with third parties

The developer does not sell or share your information with third parties, except that Google AdMob processes information within the scope of section 2.2 to show ads, and Google Play processes payments within the scope of section 2.3.

6. Your rights

Uninstalling the app erases all progress stored on your device. You can refuse or change personalised ads as described in section 2.2.

7. Children's privacy

The app is not directed at children under 14 (or under 13 where COPPA applies) and does not knowingly collect their personal information.

9. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the changes will be announced in the app or on this page.
