# Terms of Service

These terms set the conditions for using the ProofDay app ("the service") provided by SiU Ahn (안시우, "the developer"). You agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy when you sign up; you cannot sign up without agreeing.

## 1. The service
- Declare goals in public and post a daily proof photo
- Send preset cheers (🔥👏💪🙌) on other users' check-ins, follow people and adopt their declarations
- Check-in window reminders and cheer and follow push notifications
- The service has no free-form comments, direct messages or money transactions
### What proof badges mean
The badge on a proof photo (on-time, late and so on) is based on how the app recorded the photo and when the server received it. The developer does not guarantee that a photo shows the goal was actually done.

## 2. Accounts
- You can sign up with email, Google or Apple. Each sign-in method is a separate account.
- You must be 14 or older to sign up.
- You are responsible for keeping your account secure.
- You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account. What is deleted is listed in section 3 of the Privacy Policy.

## 3. Prohibited conduct — zero tolerance for objectionable content
The following content and conduct are not allowed. We may hide it immediately and suspend the account.
- Pornography, sexual content, or content that sexualizes minors
- Content that promotes violence, self-harm, hate or discrimination; harassment, insults or threats against anyone
- Photos that show other people's faces or personal details without consent
- Content that promotes illegal activity (drugs, gambling and similar)
- Spam, advertising or promotion, impersonation, automation or multiple accounts used to inflate cheers
- Posting other people's copyrighted work without permission

## 4. Reporting, blocking and moderation
- You can **report** and **block** from every check-in, goal and profile. Content from users you block disappears from your screens.
- Posts reported as sexual content are hidden immediately, before review. Posts reported by several different users are also hidden automatically.
- The operator reviews reports **within 24 hours**. When a violation is confirmed, the content is removed and the user who posted it is suspended. The reporter is told the outcome in the notification inbox.
- Accounts that violate these terms repeatedly may be banned permanently.

## 5. Rights to your content
- You keep the rights to the photos and text you post.
- You allow the service to store, display and transmit that content as needed, within the visibility you choose. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account.
- Images you share outside the app yourself, such as a completion card, may spread according to your choice.

## 6. Changes and discontinuation
The developer may change features to improve the service, or discontinue it when unavoidable. If the service shuts down, we will announce it in the app at least 30 days in advance so you can review your check-in records.

## 7. Limitation of liability
The service is provided free and "as is". To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for damage arising from use of the service or from other users' content, except for damage caused by the developer's intent or gross negligence.
