Seek Town Privacy Policy
Privacy Policy
Service: Seek Town (숨은그림 마을)
Effective date: November 1, 2026
Last updated: November 1, 2026
This policy describes how the Seek Town app ("this app") collects, uses and stores information. By installing and using this app, you agree to this policy.
1. Information this app collects or transmits
This app does not collect any directly identifiable personal information such as your name, email address, phone number or postal address. There is no sign-up or login, and the developer runs no server for this app.
Some information is stored locally on your device, and some may be processed by third parties (Google, Apple) for advertising, payments and update checks.
1.1 Stored locally on your device (never transmitted)
Using Hive and SharedPreferences, this app stores the following game data on your device only:
- Stage progress and round records per map (items found, time taken, stars)
- Items collected in the album
- Time challenge and daily records
- Hint count
- Whether "Remove Ads" was purchased (to decide whether to show ads)
- App settings (theme, language, sound)
This data is never sent to an external server and is deleted when you uninstall the app. You can also erase stages, album and records at any time from "Settings → Reset progress".
1.2 Advertising by a third party (Google AdMob)
This app shows banner and interstitial ads, plus rewarded ads that you choose to watch, through the Google AdMob SDK. For ad delivery, measurement and fraud prevention, AdMob may automatically collect and process:
- Advertising ID (Android Advertising ID / iOS IDFA — can be reset or limited on your device)
- IP address (for approximate location)
- Device information (model, OS version, screen size, etc.)
- Ad impression and click records
The developer does not collect or store this information. Google processes it under its own privacy policy.
- Google advertising policy: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads
- AdMob data handling: https://support.google.com/admob/answer/6128543
On first launch this app uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request any ad consent required in your region, and on iOS it asks for App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission. If you decline, every feature still works and you see non-personalized ads.
1.3 In-app purchase (Google Play / Apple App Store)
This app offers a one-time "Remove Ads" purchase. Payments are handled by Google Play Billing or the Apple App Store; card numbers and other payment details are never shared with the developer. This app only stores on your device whether the purchase was completed.

- Apple privacy policy: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/
1.4 Update checks and review prompts
- Android: uses Google Play's update check (
in_app_update) and review prompt (in_app_review). - iOS: calls Apple's public app lookup (iTunes Lookup) to check for a new version. Only the app identifier is sent, no user information.
2. Permissions
Internet (android.permission.INTERNET)
- Loading ads
- Processing in-app purchases
- Store update checks and review prompts
Advertising ID (com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID)
- AdMob ad delivery (section 1.2)
App Tracking Transparency (iOS)
- Asks whether the advertising ID (IDFA) may be used (section 1.2).
This app does not request sensitive permissions such as camera, microphone, contacts, location or storage.
3. Retention
This app collects no personal information directly. The local data in section 1.1 stays on your device until you uninstall the app or reset your progress.
Retention of information processed by AdMob, Google Play and Apple follows each company's policy.
4. Sharing with third parties
This app does not share your personal information with third parties. Information may be processed by Google or Apple while showing ads, handling payments or checking for updates (sections 1.2–1.4), which is the standard behavior of those SDKs and stores.
5. Your rights
- Reset progress: erase stages, album and records immediately from "Settings → Reset progress"
- Uninstall: removing the app deletes all local data in section 1.1
- Opt out of personalized ads
- Android: Settings → Google → Ads → "Delete advertising ID" or "Reset advertising ID"
- iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → turn off tracking for this app
6. Children's privacy
This app does not knowingly collect personal information from users under the age of 14, nor from children under the age of 13. AdMob ads are aimed at a general audience and this app is not designed specifically for children. Parental consent and guidance are recommended for users under 14.
